Manager – Medical Device Sales and Government Healthcare Business

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Manager – Medical Device Sales & Government Healthcare Business with strong expertise in hospital equipment sales, government healthcare procurement, dealer management, and medical equipment rental services. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working with hospitals, diagnostic chains, government tendering systems, and healthcare procurement platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive business development activities across private hospitals, corporate hospitals, diagnostic chains, and healthcare institutions
  2. Promote and sell medical devices and healthcare equipment to hospitals and diagnostic laboratories
  3. Generate business enquiries and provide market intelligence for effective equipment marketing
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and clinical presentations for healthcare professionals and procurement teams
  5. Identify government tender opportunities and manage tender preparation, bid submission, and execution processes
  6. Handle procurement activities through GeM portal and government healthcare procurement systems
  7. Develop and expand dealer and distributor networks across assigned regions
  8. Coordinate customer service activities and manage post-sales service support
  9. Build long-term relationships with hospitals, procurement teams, and healthcare stakeholders
  10. Achieve sales growth targets and expand market presence for healthcare equipment solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in medical device sales or hospital equipment business
  • Proven experience selling medical equipment to hospitals, diagnostic labs, and healthcare institutions
  • Strong expertise in government tenders and GeM portal procurement processes
  • Experience handling hospital procurement cycles and healthcare purchasing systems
  • Strong understanding of medical device industry and healthcare sales processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Life Sciences
  • Strong analytical and business development capabilities
