QA Engineer

We are hiring a QA Engineer with strong expertise in web and mobile application testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in functional testing, API validation, test planning, and quality assurance processes for React.js web applications and React Native mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Define test strategies, test plans, regression suites, and structured test cases
Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and boundary testing
Execute API testing for Python FastAPI backend services using Postman or similar tools
Validate request/response flows, authentication mechanisms, and API error handling
Log and track bugs with proper reproduction steps and severity classification
Participate in sprint planning and define acceptance criteria with development teams
Build and maintain frontend automation testing suites using Playwright or Cypress
Perform browser compatibility, accessibility, and non-functional testing activities
Collaborate with developers and Tech Leads to improve release quality and testing standards

Required Qualifications:

1–3 years of professional QA or software testing experience
Strong expertise in manual testing and test case preparation
Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging techniques
Strong defect reporting and analytical skills
Experience testing web or mobile applications in Agile environments
Ability to identify functional, edge case, and usability issues effectively

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or automation frameworks
Exposure to Python-based automation testing tools such as pytest
Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation
Experience testing government portals or compliance-driven applications
Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
Mobile application testing experience on physical Android devices will be an added advantage
