Mobile Developer – React Native

We are hiring a Mobile Developer – React Native to lead the mobile engineering workstream for SaaS products and government-facing mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cross-platform mobile development, Android deployment pipelines, and REST API integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
Manage Android build configurations, APK/AAB generation, and Play Store publishing
Integrate mobile applications with Python FastAPI-based REST APIs
Implement responsive UI designs, animations, gesture handling, and dark mode support
Handle device-level integrations such as push notifications, deep linking, biometric authentication, and file access
Optimize application performance by resolving frame drops, memory leaks, and rendering issues
Manage application state using Redux Toolkit or Zustand
Write unit and integration tests for mobile applications
Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and Tech Leads for end-to-end delivery

Required Qualifications:

2–4 years of professional React Native development experience
At least one production application deployed on Play Store
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript concepts
Hands-on experience with React Navigation, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand
Experience with Android build pipeline including Gradle, ProGuard/R8, and signing configurations
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JWT authentication, and HTTP protocols
Experience debugging mobile application performance issues
Understanding of mobile security practices including secure storage and token management

Preferred Skills:

Experience with iOS deployment, TestFlight, and App Store publishing
Knowledge of native Android development using Kotlin or Java
Familiarity with offline-first architecture using SQLite or MMKV
Experience with push notification tools such as OneSignal or Notifee
Exposure to mobile CI/CD tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions
