Electrical Head / General Manager – Projects & Electrical Operations

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Head / General Manager – Projects & Electrical Operations for a techno-managerial leadership role in heavy industrial machinery and rolling mill equipment manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in electrical engineering, project execution, industrial automation, commissioning, and cross-functional team management within steel, rolling mill, or heavy machinery industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the complete electrical engineering and project execution function of the organization
Finalize electrical architecture for rolling mill and strip processing line machinery
Approve electrical drawings, panel layouts, schematics, and wiring standards
Oversee electrical panel design, power distribution systems, and automation integration
Monitor project timelines, milestones, execution readiness, and commissioning activities
Coordinate with mechanical design, production, purchase, and project teams
Supervise machine electrical validation, testing, and troubleshooting activities
Handle technical discussions and negotiations with domestic and international clients
Finalize electrical vendors, component specifications, and technical evaluations
Lead PLC, HMI, VFD, and industrial automation system integration activities
Ensure machine readiness before dispatch and support commissioning teams during installation
Maintain engineering standards, technical documentation, compliance, and SOP implementation
Resolve complex technical and project execution challenges independently

Required Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in Steel, Rolling Mill, Metal Processing Equipment, or Heavy Machinery Manufacturing industry
Strong hands-on expertise in industrial electrical systems and project execution
Experience handling complete electrical projects independently
Strong knowledge of motors, drives, VFD systems, control circuits, sensors, and machine troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with PLC systems such as Siemens, Delta, or Mitsubishi
Expertise in electrical schematics interpretation and industrial automation systems
Strong experience in vendor management, client interaction, and technical negotiations
Ability to manage engineering teams and coordinate cross-functional departments
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making capabilities

Preferred Skills:

Experience with international project execution and commissioning
Exposure to large-scale industrial automation projects
Strong leadership and project management experience in manufacturing environments
